Before picking up a chisel and hand plane full-time, our founder and master craftsman spent years as a professional chef. In the fast-paced world of commercial kitchens, success relies on absolute attention to detail, continuous creativity, and an understanding of how raw elements come together to create something exceptional.

For a chef, transferring that innate creativity from the kitchen bench to the woodworking bench was a natural progression. The same discipline required to master flavor profiles and delicate knife work now goes into selecting timber grain, perfecting joinery, and applying flawless finishes.
